Dr. Lauren K. Dozier, D.O., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Lauren Dozier is the founder and CEO of Dr Dozier Dermatology & Aesthetics.  Board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Dozier approaches each patient with a philosophy rooted in the integration of advanced medical science and artistic precision, enhancing natural beauty and producing elegant aesthetic results for every patient.

Originally from Virginia, Dr. Dozier earned her Bachelor of Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech.) She was selected for the University Honors Program, graduating cum laude with a Scholar in Health Studies Honors Degree.  During her undergraduate tenure, Dr Dozier was also an active member of the school’s NCAA Division 1 Equestrian Team.

For a year prior to medical school, Dr Dozier gained hands-on clinical experience working as a dermatology medical assistant and clinical research coordinator for a major neuromodulator FDA clinical trial (to become Dysport), an early exposure that solidified her love and commitment to the specialty.

Dr. Dozier received her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was awarded the prestigious Health Professions Scholarship in recognition of her academic excellence. As part of her medical training, she completed clinical rotations at leading institutions including Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, gaining extensive experience across diverse patient populations and clinical settings

Following medical school, Dr. Dozier entered active-duty service as an officer in the United States Navy. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego, followed by flight training, and served for three years as a U.S. Navy Flight Surgeon stationed in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Dozier returned to Miami to complete a one-year dermatology research fellowship as well as her Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery residency at Larkin Community Hospital, where she trained under a distinguished group of leaders in the subspecialty fields of cosmetic, complex medical, surgical, and pediatric dermatology. She served as Chief Resident of her residency program during her final year of training, as well as the Cosmetics Chief, organizing and leading extra aesthetic training courses for junior residents wishing to gain further clinical cosmetic experience.

Dr. Dozier has been published in multiple peer-reviewed dermatologic journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of DermatologyCutis, and the International Journal of Dermatology, reflecting her commitment to advancing the field of dermatology through scientific scholarship.  She also serves as a trusted expert consultant for leading lifestyle and media brands such as Byrdie.  Involved in the dermatology community, Dr Dozier holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatology Society.

With over a decade of experience in dermatology and aesthetics, Dr. Dozier utilizes advanced injection and procedural techniques to enhance facial balance and skin quality while preserving each patient’s individuality. Her expertise spans a comprehensive range of aesthetic technologies, including state-of-the-art laser, radiofrequency, and light-based devices, as well as customized chemical peels for all skin types. She is highly experienced in advanced injectable treatments, including biostimulators such as Sculptra for the face and body, neuromodulators, PRP/PRF, and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers.
